A Community Interest Company

We are making a free video library for adults who find out they are autistic later in life.

Welcome to Reflection Point. Discovering autism in adulthood can be overwhelming, so we are building a clear, reliable place to find answers. Here is a look at our plans.

Filling the support gap

Adults who discover they are autistic often have many questions but receive very little formal support.

Finding reliable information takes effort, often at a time when a person's energy is already low.

Much of what is available online is about autistic children, comes from outside the UK where the rules and services are different, or is made by people without relevant expertise or lived experience. We are working to change that.

What we are creating

We are producing a series of short, practical videos to help in the first year after someone discovers they are autistic.

The videos will cover topics such as understanding an assessment report, sharing the news with loved ones and requesting workplace adjustments. Every video will be reviewed by a clinician or a specialist in that subject before it's published.

The library will be free and available to everyone. The planned topics are on our video list page.

Who the videos are for

  • Autistic adults in the UK who were diagnosed later in life
  • Adults waiting for an autism assessment
  • Adults who identify as autistic but have not sought a formal diagnosis
  • Partners, family members, friends and colleagues of autistic adults

Our aim is for the videos to be signposted in the letter that arrives with a diagnosis, and passed on by GPs and NHS teams.

Where we are now

We are building a network of autistic adults, specialists and organisations to help shape our content. Once that network is in place, we will decide together which topics to cover first.
